Michael Wandmacher Scores The Last Exorcism Part II

Composer Michael Wandmacher scored Arcade Pictures’ The Last Exorcism Part II. Directed by Ed Gass-Donnelly, The Last Exorcism Part II follows Nell Sweetzer on her road to a new life after ridding herself of an evil force. However, the evil force that once possessed her returns with a more horrific plan to take her over. Wandmacher’s recent credits include the longest running franchise PlayStation video game Twisted Metal, Fox’s hit show Breaking In, and the film Drive Angry. He is currently scoring Angry Little God and Voice from the Stone. Composer Michael Wandmacher created an electronic, jarring score for The Last Exorcism Part II. He incorporates haunting vocals with electronic foregrounds to create an eerie, unsettling sound. Using highly technical devices very meticulously, Wandmacher is able to create an ambient, electronic musical landscape.

Beginning in commercial advertising, Michael Wandmacher quickly gained composing credits for projects including film, television and video games, building a strong reputation as a composer. His recent film credits include The Killing Floor and Train. Other film credits include Never Back Down, Freakonomics and Ana’s Playground. Michael Wandmacher is the only composer to have scored three 3D films: Piranha, My Bloody Valentine and Drive Angry. His video game credits include Twisted Metal, Singularity, Over the Hedge and Madagascar. Wandmacher wrote and mixed music for Grammy winner Kelly Clarkson’s film debut From Justin to Kelly. His upcoming films include Voice from the Stone and The Haunting in Georgia.
