Sony's RED MUSIC relaunches LOUD Records with first signee Axel Leon

LOUD Records, the label that brought you Wu-Tang Clan, Three 6 Mafia, Big Pun, Mobb Deep, and many more, is relaunching with Sony's RED MUSIC.

The premier signee is rapper Axel Leon. Leon's EP Rich Port 3, with released single "Jungle," will spearhead LOUD's comeback.

Rich Port 3 is the third installment of Leon's Rich Port series. This EP is said to be a more contemporary take on the nostalgia for the golden age of New York City hip-hop that Leon was raised on.

Though born in Puerto Rico, Leon and his family moved to the Bronx in his infancy, not learning English until first grade. Leon's first musical mentors were Wu-Tang Clan, 2Pac, and the Notorious B.I.G., as he developed a love for lyricism through poetry in middle school.

Rich Port 3 is to be both introspective and chaotic, bound to be a widespread summer hit.
