Kendrick Lamar, the seven-time GRAMMY winner, kicked off his “DAMN” tour at The Staples Center Sunday night in Downtown Los Angeles.

His loyal hip-hop fans erupted when clips of the hip-hop mega star flashed across the screen. Kendrick appeared on stage kneeled down like a “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon” as his Kung Fu music video’s played behind him. Ninja fighters appeared out of the darkness as he performed “DNA” to the massive crowed. A carefully choreographed fight scene played out on stage as Kendrick moved in and out of the performance captivating the audience.

Kendrick went on to perform “Element”, “Alright”, and “King Kunta” as clips of 1933’s King Kong roared onto the big screen. Travis Scott also performed flying across the auditorium on a mechanical eagle soaring above the audience. D.R.A.M opened up the show with “Cha Cha” putting the crowd in a lighthearted mood.
