New Gear Review: Vox Amplification AC10C1 Guitar Amp

Vox_AC10SMALLThe VOX AC10C1 is a 10-watt tube amplifier that joins VOX’s Custom Series. More portable than the AC15 but more powerful than the AC4, the master volume AC10C1 has the classic VOX tone and comes with Gain, Bass, Treble and digital Reverb controls. It sports a 10-inch Celestion speaker and uses two 12AX7s and two EL84 tubes.

Originated in the early 1960s, the AC10 was one of the first amplifiers to bear the VOX name and has become a highly coveted piece of VOX history since its discontinuation in 1965. The AC10C1 provides players with an easy way to enjoy the legendary VOX top boost sound.

The AC10C1 is out now.
